"A deep, dark purple-red color is not opaque, but stains the glass as it is swirled. Juicy, ripe dark-fruit aromas have a jammy richness. Medium to full bodied, dense & smooth-textured. Very fine tannins add sweet-spice grip without astringency. Freshness keeps the fruit lively & the alcohol adds a little warmth & roundness to the palate.
