"Deep, dark ruby-red with a purple rim. The aromas are of rich, ripe red-plum fruit with savory & cedary hints. The wine is well structured & the alcohol adds a little richness to the palate. The tannins have some chalky, drying grip, but the wine is medium to full bodied & has sufficient richness to leave the structure seeming supple. Juicy, ripe red-fruit on the mid-palate gains a raspberry nature by the finish where it is overlaid by cedary sweet-spice grip." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
