"The wine has a medium to deep ruby-red color. The aromas are of cassis & the palate also shows clean cassis & blackcurrant fruit. The tannins have quite a firm grip, but while there are hints of cedar & hints of graphite there is also a smooth texture. The wine is medium bodied with the alcohol adding some roundness. Fresh acidity lifts the fruit aromas nicely & the structure gives some grip to the finish. Blackcurrant aromas & graphite notes last well."- 04/25 ep DCAMW
