Expert tasting note: (2024 vintage)
"Deep, dark, ruby-red with a purple rim. The ripe aromas are of dark-plum, Pontefract-cake, prune, raisin, ginger & cedar. the palate has a good intensity but is perhaps a little soft & rounded. Acidity is good but the finish perhaps lacks a little focus. Cedary tannins take over the finish, leaving the wine quite structured. The mid-palate is medium to full bodied. The wine finishes with chocolatey notes & soft, ripe, rounded fruit." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
