"The wine has a deep, dark purple-ruby color. Restrained aromas of elderberry fruit & graphite comprise the nose. The mid-weight palate is firm & structured but a little bit flat. Tannins are fine, chalky & gripping. Alcohol is at best balanced. The finish is long, lean & taught, slightly angular & finishes with good grip." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
