"Vibrant, deep, dark purple ruby color is not quite opaque. Aromas are of juicy damson fruit & chocolatey notes. The palate is quite structured from the outset. The wine has a nice density, some drying tannins & cedary & sweet-spice hints. The finish has a little ripeness & richness but the ripe black-plum fruit is dominated by drying cedary tannin. Alcohol is balanced & acidityu is very fresh. The structured finish is drying & angular." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
