Expert tasting note: (2024 vintage)
"Medium to deep, dark, ruby-red color. The aromas show some rich, ripe red plum fruit. The tannins are initially fine and firm but open to be more supple. Red-plum fruit on the palate has chocolatey hints & then shows cedary tannins & a rich core of bitter licorice. Balanced alcohol gives a little warmth. The wine is medium bodied, but perhaps lacks a little fruit weight. Juicy red-fruit on a structured finish lasts quite well."
