"Deep, dark black-purple color is not quite opaque. Tightly wound aromas have cassis hints & a little rich, ripe red-plum fruit. The palate is rich with jammy red-fruit & a touch of warming alcohol. Toasty oak is quite gripping on the mid-palate & gives the finish a mouthwatering bitterness.
