The Perrodo family, owners of Chateau Labegorce Margaux, bought Chateau Labegorce-Zede in 2005. From 2009, production from both Domaines were merged into Chateau Labegorce.

"Deep, dark ruby red colorwith a vivisd purple rim. Aromas are lifted, juicy & perfumed with notes of mulberry & raspberry. The palate is clean, fresh & juicy with a smooth chocolatey structure. Cedary tannins show on the back palate & with the acidity the fine tannins are mouthwatering. Alcohol is balanced & fresh acidity lifts notes of red & black plum with juicy mulberry on a long finish." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
