"Medium to deep, dark ruby-red in color with a purple rim. Vibrant red-plum fruit has leafy hints & a slight chocolatiness. The palate is initially tight & a touch cedary. The wine opens to show chocolatey richness. Alcohol adds adds a little richness to support the fine. smooth tannins. The wine's acidity is pretty fresh, making the fine tannins appear quite lean & angular on the finish until the red-fruit slowly opens up." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
