"The deep, dark purple-black color is verging on the opaque. Despite seeming closed the aromas display black-cherry & elderberry fruit with chocolate & gingery sweet-spice hints. The aromas are smooth with a rich, ripe luscious texture. The palate is medium to full bodied & has good density. The tannins on the mid-palate & the finish have a clean, cedary structure. Juicy cassis, graphite & elderberry fruit combine with fine tannins on a long, mouthwatering finish." - 04/25
