"Medium to deep, dark ruby red color is not quite opaque. Straightforward red-plum aromas are overlaid by lead pencil notes. The palate is very rounded & harmonious but shows a little drying phenolic grip. The wine is of mid-weight with balanced alcohol & fresh acidity. The tannic structure is smooth but shows a little spicy grip. The finish lasts well, ending with harmonious red- plum fruit."- 04/25 ep DCAMW
