"Deep, dark, not quite opaque purple-black. Aromas are a touch restrained & dusty with coffee notes. Rich dark-fruit on the palate has good intensity. Fine graphite notes on the mid-palate combine with rich, juicy cassis notes. Alcohol is balances & acidity is good & fresh. The wine is medium to full bodied with a fine tannic structure. A very long, fine, structured finish has hints of cedar & sweet spices. Graphite notes overlay pure cassis at the end." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
