"Deep, dark, purple ruby color is not quite opaque. The aromas are quite intense, ripe red & black cherry with cassis. A smooth palate is rounded with lively, juicy blackcurrant fruit & coffee touches. The wine is medium to full bodied, having quite generous alcohol for the vintage. Oak notes are incredibly well integrated with the rounded fruit. Good acidity combines with nutmeg & cinnamon spices on a long, harmonious, mouthwatering dark-fruit finish." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
