"Medium to deep ruby-red in color. Aromas are classic for Margaux, with lifted violet perfume & cassis. The palate's vibrant raspberry & mulberry fruit is overlaid by sweet spices. On the palate fine tannins give good grip. The wine is light to medium bodied & alcohol adds a touch of weight to the palate. Good freshness interacts with fine tannin to leave the finish mouthwatering. A lingering finish combines cedary tannins with juicy raspberry & mulberry fruit."- 04/25 ep DCAMW
