"Deep, dark ruby-red color is almost opaque. The ripe, black-plum, damson & bullace fruit aromas are rich & chocolatey. There is lovely fresh acidity that lifts elegant perfume from the fruit. The palate shows black-plum fruit & the medium to full bodied wine is & ripe with chewy tannins & integrated oak. The fruit becomes more velvety-textured & smooth on the mid-palate.
