"Vibrant deep, dark purple color with a black-purple core & a purple rim. The aromas are of fresh cassis with redcurrant hints. The clean cassis fruit is quite lean on the palate. The wine is of medium weight with balanced alcohol & fresh acidity. An elegant structure of fine tannins is quite tight & a touch austere, but stops short of being astringent.
