"The opaque black-purple color has a vivid purple rim. Lively aromas are of cassis & black plums. On the palate cassis & elderberry fruit is rounded & smooth. Tannins are fine, firm & gripping, but not astringent - there are graphite touches. The acidity is fresh & alcohol is balanced. The wine is of mid-weight & well-structured. A long, elegant finish is very fine & harmonious. Pure fruit is beautifully integrated with cedary structure at the end." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
