"Deep, dark purple ruby color. The restrained dark-fruit aromas are quite earthy, a little closed & savory. A juicy red-plum fruit opens slowly on the mid-palate. Fine tannins comprise a really elegant structure that is not at all astringent. The wine is medium-bodied with alcohol lending a little weight to the palate.
