"Medium to deep, dark ruby red color. Aromas are of perfumed red-plum fruit, cedar, cinnamon spices & chocolatey touches. The palate has open, pure, light fruit. The wine is soft-textured with chocolatey noes overlaying cooked red-plum notes. The structure is open & smooth, but there is little a licorice concentration on the mid-palate. Acidity is fresh & alcohol rounds out the balanced mid-palate. The finish lasts well, ending with smooth, juicy red fruit."- 04/25 ep DCAMW
