Domaine Dujac Chambolle Musigny Les Gruenchers 1er Cru 2015
A powerful yet elegant vintage, this wine presents an expressive nose of ripe red fruits, violets, and spice. The palate is structured, with fine tannins and a long, lingering finish.Vineyard notes
- Les Gruenchers is a lieu-dit north of the village of Chambolle-Musigny, at the foot of the hill, where the slope is only slight (less than 5%). Ranging in altitude from 266 to 273 meters, this lieu-dit faces southeast. The soil is 40 to 50 cm thick, and very stony, with jagged fragments of Premeaux limestone, and flint-like chert nodules (chailles). The substratum at Les Gruenchers is composed of Premeaux limestone.
