Pertois Lebrun L’Egoiste Millesime 2014
Nose : Aromas of slightly buttered brioche, almond, white-fleshed ripe fruits (apple and pear), opening up to clear chalky notes.
Palate : Clean and fresh attack with a creamy effervescence, fruity, fleshy and crisp in the mouth with a lemony acidity and chalky minerality, straight and long-lasting feeling on the finish.
Pairings : Very winey whilst retaining its champagne elegance, it will enhance any seafood or shellfish meal (langoustine tails, crab, gambas), as well as certain well-matured cheeses such as old Comté, Cheddar, Beaufort or Fourme d’Ambert.
