Chateau Puygueraud Francs Cotes de Bordeaux Rouge 2022
Critic tasting note:
"Leafy herbs, spices, flowers, wet earth and cherries are at the center of the nose and character of the wine. On the palate, it is the freshness, length and cut stone minerality that stand out, starting from the mid-palate, and carrying through to the finish. The wine blends 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2025-2037. 91-93 Pts." - 92/100, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
Robert Parker The Wine Advocate -
"Notes of cassis, mulberries, lilac and iris preface the 2022 Puygueraud, a classic, elegant wine with a medium to full-bodied, round and juicy palate with good depth at the core, fresh, velvety tannins and a long, ethereal finish enhanced by chalky dry extracts. Less tannic and more charming than in previous years, this is a blend of 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc." - Yohan Castaing (RP 90+)
