"Deep, darkred-purple with a vivid purple rim. Very ripe fruit aromas are of red-plums & prune. The palate displays explosive ripe black-fruit, which goes on to become chocolatey. There is fair freshness from the acidity & drying cedary tannins on the mid-palate are almost astringent. The finish is rounded with concentrated ripe dark-plum & prune fruit. The wine ends with fresh fruit & sweet-spice notes."
