Bodega Numanthia 'Termanthia' 2004
Organic

Ungrafted Vines
Bodega Numanthia's Termanthia 2004 is a monumental old-vine Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) from the rugged Toro DO in Castilla y León, Spain, crafted from centenarian vines on schist and granite soils at high altitudes.
Vineyard notes:
"Numanthia’s style depends on the selection of exceptional vines, aged between 50 and 100 years old, ungrafted and non-irrigated. Year after year, their low yields deliver grapes of extreme concentration with intense fruit and structure."
Tasting Profile
Deep garnet hue with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark plum, licorice, graphite, smoked meat, and Mediterranean herbs. The massive palate delivers explosive concentration, firm polished tannins, layered dark fruit, chocolate, earthy minerals, and a vibrant, lingering finish.
