Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot Minervois Les Carretals 2021
Domaine Anne Gros & Jean‑Paul Tollot Minervois Les Carretals 2021 is a concentrated old‑vine red from the Minervois Cazelles zone in Languedoc, France, produced from century‑old Carignan and Grenache on a high, wind‑swept causse plateau.
Tasting Profile
The wine is very deep in color with an intense, expressive nose of black raspberry, cassis, mulberry and blackberry, interwoven with liquid violet, licorice and spicy, chocolate‑tinged notes. On the palate it is elegant yet powerful, medium to full‑bodied with ultra‑pure fruit, silky tannins, salty mineral nuances and a long, refined, perfectly balanced finish.
