Futures Policy

All orders placed on our website are subject to confirmation. Payments are due in full at the time of purchase. California sales tax will be not charged at the time of purchase. During the time of the fulfillment, orders shipped within California will have California sales tax will be due before delivery. Unfortunately, due to American Express policy we will not be able to take payment for Wine Futures. All pre-arrival and futures orders are non-refundable.

We will try our best to provide an estimated time of arrival and delivery. These estimates are not a guarantee. Symbolic Wines will do everything we can to deliver orders on time, but based on release dates from the wineries, shipping schedules, and weather conditions delays might occur. When buying futures, you as a client accept the possibilities of delays and those delays do not qualify as a valid reason to cancel your orders.

We will notify you in case of delays, as well as when wine has arrived and is ready to be shipped.

1. Tariffs Agreement

By purchasing Bordeaux futures, you automatically agree to our Bordeaux futures policies, which include acknowledging your responsibility to pay any tariffs, taxes, or duties imposed at the time of delivery to the United States. This agreement will also outline the cancellation policies related to Bordeaux futures.

2. Taxes, Duties, and Tariffs

ALL TAXES, DUTIES, AND/OR TARIFFS IMPOSED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY OF THESE WINES TO THE UNITED STATES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER AND MUST BE REMITTED PRIOR TO THE RELEASE OF THE WINE.

By purchasing Bordeaux futures, you agree to pay all applicable taxes and shipping costs, which will be calculated and communicated to you prior to the wine being ready to ship and release.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order amount will apply.

4. Delays and Arrival Time

We are not responsible for any delays which may be caused by any circumstances beyond our control. The estimated arrival time for Bordeaux futures is 2026.
