Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault La Rencontre 2023

Formely known as Domaine Michelot Mere et Fille.

Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault La Rencontre 2023 is a dry white Burgundy from Meursault in the Côte de Beaune, produced from Chardonnay, sourced from old vines over 75 years in the Les Pelles and Sous La Velle plots, and bottled in 750 ml format at 12.5% ABV. The cuvée comes from Domaine Bernard-Bonin, run by Véronique Bonin and Nicolas Bernard, a Meursault estate farming around 7–9 hectares organically to biodynamically across Meursault and Puligny.

Tasting Profile

Pale gold hue with aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, wet stone, and subtle hazelnut. The palate delivers mineral drive, creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and a long, saline finish.

Key Traits

Body: Medium-plus, focused with tension and finesse.

Aging: 5-10+ years potential; pairs with shellfish, veal, or soft cheeses.

Terroir: Organic farming on clay-limestone yields Meursault's hallmark purity and weightless complexity.
