Domaine Jean‑Jacques Confuron Côte de Nuits‑Villages “La Montagne” Blanc 2021 is a rare white Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits, crafted from Chardonnay grown in the La Montagne climat on brown, calcareous soils.
The wine unfolds with aromas of ripe citrus fruits, lemon curd, orchard fruit, and ripe green fruits, layered with toasted hazelnuts, almonds and a subtle smoky edge. On the palate it is creamy and full‑bodied yet lively and elegant, with fresh acidity, refined texture and a delicate, enveloping finish that leaves a long, precise impression.
Grape & Appellation: 100% Chardonnay from La Montagne in AOC Côte de Nuits‑Villages, Burgundy.
Vinification & Aging: Aged in French oak barrels with about 15% new oak, yielding a subtle touch of toast and structure without overwhelming the fruit.
Style & Character: A refined, terroir‑driven white Côte de Nuits that combines generous fruit and creamy volume with tension, minerality and gastronomic versatility.
