Petit-Roy Les Lavieres, Savigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru 2022
Petit-Roy Les Lavieres, Savigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru 2022 is a refined Pinot Noir from Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France, produced on a small plot in Savigny-lès-Beaune's premier cru Les Lavieres by biodynamic methods.
Tasting Profile
Showing sweet cherries, plums, and licorice on the nose, with very expressive red and dark berry fruit, a sweet, fleshy core of fruit, and a silky, rounded texture in which the ripe fruit largely enfolds the gentle structural tannins. Other professional notes highlight a highly lifted, perfumed bouquet with violets, plum, cherry, blueberry, and sweet oriental spices, and a palate that glides like silk, marked by black cherry, spice, and dense, serious yet nicely integrated tannins.
