"Deep, dark ruby-red, not quite opaque. Dark frit aromas on the nose are quite closed with cocoa butter & charred oak notes to the fore. Bright cassis fruit is lifted by good acidity, with a little cedar. Disappointingly the concentrated fruit is yet to open onto the finish." - 11/04 DCAMW
